What is the Early Access pre-launch phase?

Explore the Prototype

The Tribal Funding Registry is a curated, online database of funding opportunities applicable to Tribes and Native-led nonprofits. This tool will be accessible via a web browser (no app installs or additional software required).

Provide feedback

There’s an opportunity to directly influence the features and functionality of the Tribal Funding Registry tool before the public launch in March 2025.

Who is eligible to apply for Early Access ?

Early Access is for you if you:

  1. Have a strong desire to improve the grant prospect research process for Tribes / Native communities

  2. Spend 1 - 3 hours a week reviewing new grant opportunities

  3. Are actively seeking new funding opportunities for 2025 grant cycles

  4. Are familiar with researching either federal or foundational grants

What is the time commitment for Early Access users?

Those who are selected to be part of the Early Access Pre-Launch Phase will be expected to meet a time commitment of 5 - 6 hours total between Monday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 28.

Here is a breakdown of the time commitment:

  • 1 hour for Onboarding

  • 4 hours to explore the Tribal Funding Registry prototype and to complete 3 tasks (to be assigned to you during Onboarding), record task notes and complete a brief evaluation survey

  • Select participants will be invited to engage in a 30 min 1:1 feedback session

What is the timeline for the Early Access Pre-Launch Phase?

Applications open

As of Friday, December 19, 2024*** applications are closed.

Applications are due - Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

  • Monday, December 23, 2024

    • Notice of acceptance and onboarding session scheduled

  • Friday, January 3, 2025

    • Onboarding sessions confirmation is due

  • Monday, January 13, 2025

    • Onboarding sessions are happening

    • Users are engaging in prototype exploration, task assignments and completing the evaluation survey

    • Select users are participating in 1:1 feedback sessions

  • Tuesday, January 28, 2025

    • “Early Access” ends, task assignments, evaluation surveys and feedback due

How to apply for Early Access?

All Early Access users must have:

  • an email account

  • a desktop or laptop computer with Wi-Fi

  • One of the following web browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari

  • A way to record notes to share electronically via email with the Tribal Funding Registry Team
